    Thanks for starting from the beginning. I have no clue how to sew anything. Now that my confidence is boosted by at least being able to thread a needle, I'm going to watch the rest of your videos. Hopefully I'll be able to sew a button on pants by the end of the week!

  2. I use that technique but I hold the eye of the needle directly over the pinched loop and roll my finger and thumb to release the thread slowly. That seems to work with any sized eye. It keeps the loop tight as it passes through. Your right though, it takes practice. But if people learn good techniques like this one, they will learn so much faster and will enjoy it a lot more.
