I thought this was a great video! The ppl that are saying negative things are just nit picking! I think it's beautiful to have a video between mother & daughter, especially that it has so much useful information. I really like Jenny's videos, & can watch one after another for hours! She has a nice pleasant voice & makes things very easy to understand., & so does her daughter.. If you have watched other quilting videos, you will find not everyone can do this… Keep it up Jenny & Hillary!!

  4. towinbuddy says:

can you quilt a blanket that is finished or would I have to take it apart first to free motion quilt it?

  5. Thanks so much for this tutorial! I recently got a new machine and the instructions said to put the tension on 0. I turned my mug rug over after I was done quilting it and the back was all "Dragon teeth and Eyelashes". So when I watched your tutorial again I put the tension way up and it worked like a charm.

  6. Misty Ancira says:

That tutorial was so helpful. Thank you. I am making my very first quilt and that basting spray technique and free motion sewing was just the tips I needed to move on. thank you thank you.

  7. Fran Mineo says:

Thanks for making this wonderful video. I love the relaxed approach. You always make it look like its easy enough for me to do it, and the conversational interchange makes me feel like I'm there with you. You don't emphasize being perfect but enjoying the creative process, and the practice. Great pointers and explanations especially on tension, pattern, etc., for your own machine. Thoroughly enjoyable.

  8. Sharon Pope says:

Your tutorials are great. I have been wanting to learn how to quilt and your tutorials make it look very easy. Your videos explain it with excellent detail. I've watched several of your videos & now I feel confident enough to try one. Thank you.

  9. Do you think one can Free Motion Quilt a King size???  I'm a beginner, made a king size top and am ready to finish it. I have a Simple machine nothing fancy… If you think King is too big I will tie this one.

  10. PJ Jean says:

Yeah, her hair could be a distraction if you focus on it lol.. what I was distracted by was watching her with my breath held just hoping to goodness she didn't get a needle to the finger!  YIKES !  Good work though. I love your tuts

  11. Well done Mum and Daughter ..Thanks for a great video

  12. Wow, this is the first tutorial I have watched that actually told you how to set up your machine. They usually just start showing you the quilting part.  I have never tried this but I intend to after watching this. Those that keep complaining about the bangs evidently wasn't interested in the quilting. Jenny is a great teacher and her daughter has lots of years to learn. The best thing is to find positive things instead of negative. Jenny you and Hillary did an awesome job. Love your tutorials.

  13. thanks for taking the time to put this together – it was very helpful to me 🙂

  14. Good information, too many interruptions. Remember your audience, ladies, and you are teaching. Less distractions the better. Thank you.

  15. Janet S says:

Loved this video. I feel a lot more confident to just get busy and try it (with practice sandwiches, first!) Hillary has a knack for teaching.

  16. Jan Blomeke says:
