Keep a look out for student discount, especially if/when making large purchases like laptops or sewing machines!

Literally everything I came across during my degree, but of course check with your teachers and tutors to avoid buying things you don’t need and that are appropriate for the course you are studying. All the best! Check out the video below on books I recommend:

hi, thank you so much for this video! 🙂 I was wondering if you may help me out! My fashion design course recommends me to buy their fashion technical kit, but the problem is that its $800! the kit mostly involves things like:
    ruler set (tailors curve.etc)
    – set basic pattern blocks
    – tailors awl
    – long tweezers
    – rajah cloth
    – tracing wheel
    – dressmakers fabric scissors
    – large garment bag
    – basic foot (suit industrial and brother)
    – zipper foot
and more similar things! when I look at the list I feel like it shouldn't be priced so high! Do you think I shouldn't buy it? Is this normal for it to be so pricey? Thank you for your time!

  5. I have a Singer 404 industrial sewing machine that my granny gave me when I was younger. Just now getting interested in fashion again and I realized what a great machine she gave me. And I love copics!
